And it is likely scaring off some people from even applying.
At the same time, you've got a ton of schools that are really struggling to meet their enrollment goals.
So if you can get more students aware of certain schools that weren't on their radar before, some of them might actually enroll.
And that's, you know, as we have somebody in the story saying, one more student is still one more student.
And for the student side, having it be this easy, being told, hey, guess what?
I know you're worried.
You're already in and you'll get a scholarship, makes college seem that much more feasible for lower income students or students whose families haven't gone to school before.
It's funny.
They may have had them available, just not known about it.
So a lot of these schools, especially the smaller private colleges, award merit aid.
And it's anybody with a GPA over a certain thing gets this $10,000 or $20,000.
But they don't always know that that's part of the financial aid package.
So if they're told up front with an email, you know, yes, this is real.
You're in at the school.
And by the way, they're giving you twenty five thousand a year guaranteed that school that they may never have even heard of becomes a lot more attractive.
Probably not, because not all schools are doing direct admissions yet, right?
It's still just early stages.
It tends to be the schools that are less selective, maybe lower profile, small regional private colleges, or there are some public universities involved as well.
But it's still kind of...
gaining speed.
