And sometimes for a kid with PDA that will work.
What's fascinating is that there are
I think there's a s statistic out there that says
That's something like
Seventy percent of the school refusers.
That will not go to school probably have PDA.
Or it may be that
the kids who have PDA, 70% of them are not actively in school at any given time.
But those are very, very highly correlated things.
Um, so that's the public school route, but you do have a subset of people with PDA who actually only act out in one setting.
So they may not even act out at school.
They may act out only at home and be complete angels at school because they're holding it together all day.
And it may not manifest until college or um when they have to get a job.
So there are people with PDA who are resilient enough to just
keep going and doing it.
Most of them though tend to it's really tough for them and they tend to be school refusers.
So
If s public school doesn't work, I think you may need to look at a home school or an alternative school.
