And then what really creates the most value, what that's actually the people behind the business.
So even though I'm fortunate to run a software business, it is without a doubt the people that are running the business, developing the software, uh connecting the software through APIs, but also uh especially towards large clients selling the software.
So so making sure that you uh that you have the right people in the right place.
Being engaged and working with their strengths that really boosts growth in a business.
So at an early point to stage, I started as a financial management consultant.
I've worked as an analyst and also an auditor.
But after uh after the merge of Arthur Anderson and EY at that point in time, I think that was in 2003.
I was asked to enter into HR, Human Resources, to try to build a new company, actually merging sort of two cultures, even though they were delivering quite different services.
And that was quite a process where I learned a lot about what really drives a business.
And that's all about the people.
And again, having the right leaders in the right place.
In um
In this one, I think in technology.
Um, both of us know that things are happening so fast, and it's a highly innovative industry.
So in order to lead and be the number one, you have to be the front runner.
And knowing that uh ninety three percent of all people they don't like change, uh that's quite a a special uh way to run a business.
But I think the reason why people in general don't like change is that they like to feel secure.
And often people think that that's all about stability, but I think it's more about security.
So if you are leading the change, if you let the people be empowered to be in the front seat driving the change, they feel secure, they feel involved.
And making sure that people are in the front seats and not in the backseat of all the changes, well, that drives innovation, creative thinking.
