I think um I'm not sure if you you came in late to the session, but we we we did share quite a lot um with regards to this, whether it is language, timing, uh you know, when is the best time to talk to your friend about this, um, what resources you could share with them, how to share it with them.
Um and
uh uh you know, again, perhaps just having an honest conversation with them.
Like, you know, I have noticed this.
Um, what would you like me to do in these situations?
How do you want me to talk to you?
How do you want me to respond?
What do you need from me?
Um, so there's a couple of things there.
Uh Laura?
Anything to add?
um,
We have two questions left, um, and I'd love an opportunity to for us to to get through them.
Um my uh my partner of twenty-nine years, sorry, it just keeps jumping.
My partner of twenty nine years asked me today.
Why do you keep picking and scratching your scalp until you break the skin and then pick at the scabs before they have a chance to heal?
This behaviour only started after the incident and the stress surrounding the trial.
Before that happened, I never picked up my scalp like this.
Can you explain in simple grade nine level language why a person might suddenly start repeatedly scratching or picking at their scalp?
during or after a very stressful or traumatic period.
