You know, my dad was British and I lived in England for a while.
So I think it might be... Might be British, yeah.
But it's sort of Anglo in some way.

Yeah, I mean, I agree, and I'll give you my exact language around how I think about it.
The goal was to un-weird coaching for normal people.
Okay.
I had trained as a coach.
I could see the power of this as a technology tool.
But coaching still has this, but back 10 years ago, certainly had just too much woo-woo and mystery and black box.
And I was like, look, there's a whole bunch of people, managers, parents, teachers, sports coaches, who could benefit from knowing how to do this.
And I just want to make it easy and accessible for people.
So unweirding coaching was kind of the big goal.
And then in terms of naming a single behavior change I was hoping to create, it was helping people to stay curious a little bit longer.
So that's obviously really closely related to the ask good questions.
But there's a way that staying curious longer is not necessarily only about asking questions.
It's about staying present.
It's about taming your advice monster.
It's about creating more space.
It's about staying a bit more silent and listening a bit more deeply.
