So the foundations of what the team was built on, I'm sure it's been discussed around those geopolitical reasons, but Papua New Guinea deserve a rugby league team.

And it's our job to make sure that that rugby league team is successful and becomes a powerhouse.

So, yeah, it's important to the game.

It's important to the Australian government.

It's important to the PNG government as well.

And I keep saying that I think that a –

Long term, I don't think anyone can doubt this is good for rugby league to have 10, 15 million people adoring a rugby league team.

I'm not sure the ins and outs of what... I think they were doing negotiations of what would be the right amount.

Now, I don't know what that amount started at and ended at.

But from what I understand...

All clubs were happy to take that $4 million.

Yeah, well...

We're five signings in.

I don't want to get ahead of ourselves, but we're really happy with the ones we've put together.

I can understand the club's feel on that.

And everyone that I spoke to, family, friends, when I took on the job, they're like, are you sure you know what you're doing?

I wear it as a badge of honor because it means we're doing something right.
