We're missing the point as a club.
Now, we're going to come in and disrupt the competition.
That's what we need to do.
And the one thing that people have forgotten is everyone talks about, yeah, Papua New Guinea is rugby league mad.
That means there's 10 million people who already got a rugby league team.
We've got to convert 10 million people into Chiefs fans.
They are diehard Broncos, they're diehard Cowboys and Storm.
Like, the amount of people who support Brisbane in PNG is incredible.
The CEO, Lorna McPherson, her partner is a mad Broncos fan.
I can't even convert him to support the Chiefs.
So...
There is an element like we need to come in and make a noise.
We can't just come in there and just make up numbers because Papua New Guinea is not going to accept that.
And everyone's spoken about the advantages of tax-free.
If we play it smart, we can be in a situation where we can be competitive.
And there is a gap in the development of Papua New Guineans.
So in the meantime, we need to make sure –
We provide them with a competitive team, big names, so that when we take those five or ten years to get the Papua New Guineans developed in the state to run their own team and to have their own players, that those five, ten years weren't a waste of time.
We're a powerhouse for the time that they're sustainable as Papua New Guineans.
