We're not naive to the fact you're not going to sign guys to four, five, six-year deals.

Like it's – That's one of the understandings of the club, isn't it?

Not unless they're Papua New Guinean heritage or Papua New Guinean born.

But don't go in trying to change something that you know that you can't change.

We've gone in there knowing what we have to work with.

And it may have a limited lifespan, but that doesn't mean you don't have a plan for that.

And everyone's critical of the fact that we've signed players of a certain age.

Well, one, they're the players that have been available, so we've been opportunistic in that.

But two...

there's no reason to have that rotation of that player in that sweet spot, 28 to 31.

And you do that constantly over a two or three year period and you remain in a window where you're competitive.

Like that's the advantage that we've got being tax free.

But those kinds of players are also more able to, they're able to deal with the challenges that you mentioned.

A lot better than a 19, 20, 21 year old kid.

And at the start they were like, oh, you just are only single.

You can't take married men.

You can't take guys with kids and family.

And I generally believed it was the opposite for us.
