Uh my dad went to University of Oregon, so he got down yeah by proxy.

Yeah, wha what did your dad end up uh doing?

Uh he went to school for uh computer science and uh

after he graduated, uh, looking for a job and oil and gas industry was booming up here at the time in the early eighties, so uh decided to move up here and uh

Started recently and been here ever since.

Yeah, so that was an interesting situation.

Originally, when Billy Moores and Rick Carrier were doing the player development department, they were looking for an intern.

So I started helping them out a little bit, doing some video interning when I started helping at the U of A, kind of to make ends meet and get some invaluable experience.

And then after I finished that first year there,

they asked kind of that department, Dallas asked that department, if there's anyone that would be willing to help out with some odd jobs and stuff around the, the coach's office.

And I had the opportunity to work with Dallas in that 14, 15 season, I believe.

And he was, uh, unbelievable to me in terms of the way he treated me.

And, uh,

So it would have been following that season, I believe there was an opening, you know, kind of video coaching was a little more in its infancy at that time, not as sophisticated.
