And I laughed about that and thought, oh, God, yeah.
Like you can't hide yourself forever.
So if you are going to fall in love with somebody, it's a very good idea to let them know exactly who you are.
And they do the same.
Then you cut a deal that you always be yourself, that you always encourage each other to do that.
And then you love the very person they are, not the person you'd like them to be.
It's incredible.
There's a rising up into love in a way.
I don't know how we got on this subject, but what I like about this movie in particular is that you've got a very solid central male character with men that he's loyal to and good to, and he's trying to return to his wife.
And there's two or three very strong female characters in the film as well, I think, which I think gives the whole thing a nice balance.
But I love the fact that he, I'm not going to ruin the end, but he
comes back and kind of dismantles a lot of weak, pathetic men.
Because there's a lot of weak, pathetic men out there.
It's just this great balance of trying to understand the ebb and flow of what it is.
Yeah, it's a brilliant film.
If you're looking for a poetry book... It is extraordinary.
..and you like Donna Ashworth and the like, this is in a slightly different crease of... I'm sure you'd call it feminism or something, but she's a beautiful African poet, and the book is called Salt, and it is sensational, the poetry in that book.
Yeah, it's cracked me open, but that one line, show me who you are, because I will see you in the end.
I was like, okay, yeah, that's the way to go.
