And I said, I haven't a clue, Bob.

So let's get started.

Now, I started that conversation with two assumptions.

First assumption was I don't know anything about business.

The second assumption was Bob does because he owns one.

And so the only thing left for me to do was to ask Bob questions.

And that's what I started to do.

Questions, questions, questions, questions.

And the more questions I asked Stan, the more it became absolutely transparent to me that Bob didn't know anything about business.

He didn't know anything about his business because every single answer he gave me was anecdotal.

And as that happened, I also began to see that I did know something about business, that selling is a system.
