It is going really, really well.
We launched in January, as you know.
We had a June primary and performed exceedingly well.
We got 3.4 million votes just from the June primary, and that represents that every registered Republican who voted, voted for me, and then another 800,000 of no party preference and Democrat voters as well.
We are appealing to the masses and we are crossing party lines.
We've got a long list of endorsements.
As you know, Chad Bianco, who was running for governor, just endorsed me a couple of weeks ago.
So we're building support, building a coalition and we're doing quite well.
Yeah.
So, I mean, this is really not a good season if you're Rob Bonta, who's the incumbent attorney general.
Right now, the 2026 Consumer Affairs Report just came out just last week, I think, or the week before.
And according to the study in that 2026 Consumer Affairs Report, California is ranked the second most dangerous state in the nation to live in.
It may be surprising to
to some, maybe not to others, but it is absolutely true.
And then if you add to it that the FBI data on violent crime ranks California sixth highest in crime in the nation.
Again, that's FBI data, not the Rob Bonta's, his own data from the California Department of Justice, but the FBI data on violent crime.
So California is very, very violent.
And so I'm out there preaching
that we need to return to law and order, that we need to be tough on crime, and we can make neighborhoods safe again.
Just like I did in Huntington Beach when I was the city attorney there for 10 years, we were tough on crime, no excuses.
