And because of that, Huntington Beach is ranked in the top 10 safest cities in the state of California out of nearly 500 cities.
So Huntington Beach is extremely safe.
It's one of the larger cities with 200,000 residents and 15 million visitors a year.
And notwithstanding those high numbers on population and visitors, we are ranked one of the
safest cities in the entire state of California.
So we can do this.
Yeah, well, as you know, we sued Newsome over the COVID lockdowns when he came down to Huntington Beach during COVID to shut down our beaches with armed state troopers, concrete barricades and bulldozers.
We sued him to open up our beaches again.
It's like I said, Huntington Beach is one of the larger cities, 27 square miles, eight miles of beautiful coastline.
And he literally shut us down, wouldn't allow law abiding, taxpaying citizens to go to the beach during COVID.
As you know, a very stressful time for society.
when you couldn't go to the bank, you couldn't go to the grocery store, you couldn't even go to church.
People were just trying to go to our beaches in Huntington Beach and Newsom took that away from us.
But we sued on a number of other fronts too.
We sued to return millions of dollars worth of taxpayer money to Huntington Beach from the state of California.
We sued over high density housing mandates.
We even sued to protect parents' rights, that AB 1955 law that went into effect in 2024 that mandated that teachers keep secrets from parents with regard to children's gender transition issues.
We sued, Huntington Beach sued.
That was my lawsuit that sued and we won.
And then the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, if you follow the news coming out of the Ninth Circuit, a few weeks ago, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals sided with the city of Huntington Beach again
