You had a bunch of people talking about the bill, and they were all standing there.

And the idea, I think, was they were really presenting this united opposition.

In the face of a Republican conference that has been very divided, both in the House and Senate, throughout this entire process.

Every time they've needed to do this, especially in the House, they've had to muscle this over the line.

And so I think...

The message here is essentially we are united in opposition against this bill.

We all have the same objections against this bill.

And the other thing that's been really interesting is they're very specifically singling out moderate members who at various points said, I can't vote for this bill if it does this to Medicaid.

I can't vote for this bill if it does this to the IRA clean energy credits.

I can't do this if we're going to make these cuts to SNAP.

The House Democrats have really gone after Senator Lisa Murkowski for caving on the bill and then actually saying...

Caving is the wrong word.

But she negotiated.

She got some favorable credits.

And then she later, I mean, minutes after the vote, told reporters, you know, I don't like this bill.

I want the House to change it.

And they said, well, you voted for it.

Right.

You want us to do.

But, yeah, I think they're really trying to single out some of these people who they think might be politically vulnerable.
