That's the trick, to know that this joy of summer is lovely to dance around the maple, is lovely to embrace the lover.

But when you're in the loneliness bit, when you're in the down bit, this is always hidden inside you.

And it will always come again.

Always.

And that, I think, is the promise you feel when you get older and you think about death and mortality.

And you see loved ones around you, like Moira Brennan.

You see the passing of beautiful people.

And yet you really fall back into that faith that in some way that transcends all theology, all religion, but in some way the light never goes away.

Our humanity is indestructible in its love.

And that's the light that's in us in winter and comes around the circle.

And we get a chance to celebrate it a little bit in summer if you have a good day.

And I do think that that is why they say that older people tend to get happier, believe it or not, they say.

And I think I can understand that because there's some sense of life being resolved as you get into your 70s.

And that kind of is beautiful, you know?

Yeah, I mean, like, I'd probably feel, you know, even more resolved for them in my 90s.

But you don't know, you see, that's the point.

That in your 70s, there's a lovely thing they do in Scandinavia.
