They didn't realize there was so much evidence that people just aren't talking about.

And there really is a massive amount of evidence for the Exodus that no one was really aware about.

Yeah, that's complete nonsense.

So, for example, the Gospels are written well within the lifetime of the eyewitnesses that saw Jesus.

And the scholar Craig Keener will tell you we have no evidence of people writing fictional biographies of somebody within the lifetime of an eyewitness.

So if the Gospels are doing this, they're the anomaly.

So it doesn't really even make sense.

So well within the lifetime, very reliable documents.

People go, what about the Old Testament then?

Well, we have a lot of evidence for the reliability of the Old Testament.

Here's a challenge that scholars like John Bergsman will bring up.

Old Testament books prior, or I'm sorry, excuse me, after David, everyone's talking about Mount Zion, Zion theology, Jerusalem.

This is the central place of worship.

And so you'll see this in Ezekiel.

He'll take passages from Leviticus and Deuteronomy and combine them with Zion theology, Zion, the central site, the central site.

Why isn't that in the Torah?

There is no Zion theology in the Torah.

The central cultic site is said to be Mount Ebal, which is a very obscure location, not really used much in the Bible after Joshua.

Over and over again throughout the Torah, the central cultic site is not said to be Jerusalem.
