So you make one piece and then fuse it with another and then fuse it with another and then cut this one.
But with the weather here, it's difficult to do that.
So my favorite pieces would be pieces maybe I've done outside Kenya.
And the one that I loved the most was Spiderweb, which was at an event in Finland many years ago.
I did that with an artist called Timo Koivisto.
He's a Finnish ice carver.
That was my most favorite piece ever done.

On it, you always have it together because many a times you lose plants.
You know, you plant something and then the week after next, you've expected it to be doing well, at least coming out of the soil, and then nothing happens.
Sometimes you have a plant that is doing really well and you think you're going to get a good harvest and then it just withers away.
I think here in Kenya, for many, when they hear the phrase El Nino, it basically sparks a cautionary note for them because Kenya has experienced significant negative impacts during El Nino periods.
Basically, during El Nino, a lot of times you experience enhanced rains.
I think many Kenyans and people in East Africa would remember 1997, 1998 period where the region experienced
Perhaps the most extraordinary heavy rains where there was damage worth millions of dollars.
And basically the country's infrastructure was almost paralyzed.
Oh, wow.
So they were actually doing town planning 1,500 years ago?
