And I knew that he knew he had CTE.
I knew that he knew that he he was slipping away and sliding away.
Yet he could bring a sense of humor to it in a way that there wasn't anyone else that I bet that was like that.
And that's where you do the real good, because like you say, you know, if it's sad and somber, people are going to turn away.

He told me, he said, you know, I used he said this on the air.
He said, you know, you know, I drive fast.
still and that wasn't necessarily going to continue for a long time but he said i would uh all of a sudden i'd find myself parked 50 miles from my house and i'd have no idea how i got there none and that was like really creepy but it really hit the seriousness of you know taking hits to the head right you know we don't know what was going on in claude labue's brain uh it's it's it's so hard
to understand CTE for sure, but mental illness in general, because there's no proof of it, right?
Like if I say I'm really, really down and I'm feeling, you know, like I don't necessarily, you know, I don't want to wake up tomorrow morning.
I can't prove to you that that exists in my head.
Like I have no evidence, right?
But other illnesses, you could do a biopsy or a blood test or an x-ray or MRI, and you could say, hey, take a look at this.
But when it comes to mental illness, I got no proof.
You know, Keith, all of your injuries and all the things that you played through, if you were so inclined, you could have like a scrapbook of x-rays for that, right?
You can't do that with mental illness.
And that's why I think in a lot of ways, people doubt that it exists.
You know, the biggest thing that I always tell people is that you got to come to grips with the fact that you need help.
And once you do, like many people, like I do some work for Green Shield.
