uh a mature species come back come back even even under a hundred you know a hundred years from now, you come back and you look and a mature and we're still walking around with all of these with all of these susceptibilities and limitations.
It it it it just can't be.
And and I think I think we can see a w a way past it uh and and that's assuming we all you know, assuming we all survive, I think that's that's where we're going.
Yeah, I think I think it is and and and I think I think we're going to uh have the same problem that we have in ethology or behavioral science or exobiology when if we were to meet aliens.
What you're dealing with is a mind that is not really like your mind.
And so the things they care about, the things that they can think about, uh, the space that they're operating in is different.
So we're going to have to uh, you know, you you're you're not going to have a conversation with your liver about the the movie that you saw and you know and and so on, but but but you absolutely could have a conversation with your liver about what it's like to live in physiological state space and what happened yesterday when you drank too much and and why and your hopes for the future where things uh you know sort of balance out correctly with your potassium.
influx and so on.
So so these will not be uh these are these are not uh conventional human minds, but they are absolutely intelligences that you can uh uh have some kind of uh some kind of relationship with.
I don't know.
I don't know if you want exactly that.
It's it's not it's not uh all it's correct up to me.

Uh I don't think I don't think you can w I don't think you can do away with cancer once and for all because cancer is a f is a fundamental uh failure mode of the system that keeps us together.
The the question isn't why do we get cancer.
The question is why isn't every why isn't it all cancer all the time?
Why why do we have anything but cancer?
And it's because of these communication networks that allow uh cells to join together to have bigger goals, goals about shape and
instead of uh metabolism.
