He went down and he dominated and then came up and dominated.

So sometimes you rush these guys.

Roman Anthony, he struggled right when he came up, figured it out.

You really got to place the trust and make sure that they have the ability in the runway to go and fail.

If he has a bad April, it's okay.

And I think that's really going to boil down to can he handle shortstop in their mind as well as I know he can.

And I think that's where it's really going to boil down to.

I don't think it's going to be offense because he's a threat anytime he walks the plate because of the speed.

He changes the complete dynamic of our team.

When you think about how good he is defensively, it makes us better.

So, yeah, it's going to be very interesting, but I think he's already proven the fact that he's mature enough and he has the makeup and character.

Yeah, he rides the horse and carriage to the field, I think.

in his mind and everybody else's mind is playing, it's not an expedition.

They're going to play to win.

And I think that's good for Paul.

I think it's good for the Pirates.

And I think it's good for baseball.

I mean, what the World Baseball Classic did for baseball the last time around and, you know, the world eyes that saw it, I think going into especially this bargaining agreement and all the craziness that's going on in the news, I don't think there's a better outlet for baseball right now than to have the best players playing

in the United States on that field and go win a gold.
