It's going to be tough off the bench, but he's the bat in my mind, and then Cook gives you that other option.
for defense in the outfield.
I mean, you have O'Hearn that's probably going to come into first a lot to replace Horowitz defensively, and he'll be in when lefties are out there, and then Cook can jump out there in the outfield and give a blow to those guys, especially with lefties.
So I love that move.
If you don't know, Cook is really, really good in the outfield, so that solidifies that position, makes us a little bit more dynamic off the bench because he can run a little bit.
And then York, I think he is โ
when it comes to the major leagues.
I don't think we've seen even a piece of what that kid can do.
I think he's going to have a big year if he gets enough opportunities.
But yeah, I think our bench is good or better than it's been a long time, especially when it comes to the way they can utilize it.
If they can stay healthy and...
work around the length of innings that these guys are going to have restrictions on.
There's no question, and I'll tell you right now, if they can get in the postseason, there's nothing that could stop them if they're hot because how good the pitching is, but that's the whole thing.
You've got to figure out a way to balance this.
I think Clevenger staying here and going to AAA is a huge, huge bonus for us.
It gives us depth, and he's a guy that could come up and give us innings with incredible pedigree, but
how they got him to stay is remarkable i thought he had a really good spring um when it came to showing his stuff and what he could do so that was a huge huge stay for us i think it's going to be bigger than we can even anticipate because he's a guy that he wants to be here and he looks like a pirate too tattoos long hair gritty so i i think
It shows the identity and the culture that's kind of settled in over spring.
Now they got to go out there and do their thing and kind of take it one day at a time.
Try to win every single game.
