Well, I guess I'll start by saying that most of the data that we have access to at the NHL level, we do have access to for most of the major leagues across the world.
And that's what makes it a nice, tidy process because whatever you develop in terms of your R&D at the NHL level, you can sort of apply to other leagues too.
But that's not to say that the context isn't different.
Of course it is.
So different players of different ages at different leagues, these mean different things.
So this is a game of trying to put everything into context, useful context.
How do you compare...
an 18 year old season in, you know, the OHL to a 20 year old season in the Allsvenskan to a 23 year old season in the NCAA, right?
Like you need to, players follow a development path.
Um,
And you might have heard of aging curves, this type of thing.
It's real.
So you need to understand what something means at different ages, at different levels.
And so I do think that there's things that we do from an evaluation perspective for players before they get to the NHL that can be slightly different than how we might evaluate an NHL player when they get to the NHL.
And I like to look at all kinds of different things.
You don't just look at one number and say, that's that.
I like to...
have multiple avenues of research.
And, you know, every little bit adds a bit of nuance to that player's little quilt that you're trying to look at.
And so we do support the amateur staff quite heavily.
