I love that definition.
I steal often without attribution.

But it's really a long expect uh respected governance principle.
It again came uh out of the Enron era when there were so many leadership deficiencies at that time.
And I think the resurging interest, Rob, comes from a number of sources.
N you know, again, not necessarily with respect to how
uh y you or me or a general counsel might view uh the Department of Justice, for example, as an institution.
Um, but for example, taking a look at the new uh national fraud enforcement decision, the division of justice.
I I think more importantly, we're starting to see polling and surveys, Rob, that reflect concern with the optics of self-interest, lack of independence and conflicts of interest in business and in government.
Including, you know, there have been a couple of stories in in uh over the last month in the New York Times on how this has affected um the diplomatic corps and things of that nature.
You you take from these surveys, uh and and I don't think I'm extrapolating too much from this, uh you take for the surveys that we may have
become to normalize conflicts
and be uh and behavior pushing the ed edge uh of the envelope.
Uh in a way that we haven't in the past.
And in that regard, I was really struck, Rob, by a quote in the Times.
