Yes, so we started operating in August 2021 and it was not until November 2023 that we were advised by the county that we need to apply.

Since the beginning we applied for 40 dogs and we have spent already over $200,000 in fees.

$200,000 already.

$250,000 in infrastructure.

It's been a very stressful process over two and a half years.

We don't understand why it takes took so long.

But we have started receiving, we had no complaints until November 2023.

And then all the complaints are condensed into 2025.

So we are under a lot of stress.

People are complaining not only to aspects related to the business, but to our personal life, our immigration status, our family.

It's been overwhelming and very difficult.

It depends on the amount of dogs that we have, but we keep like one dog per one caretaker per eight dogs.

So depending on how many dogs we have on that day, I build the schedule accordingly.

On average, how many?

On average, we have three people on site to take care of 25 dogs to keep the rate of.

It does happen, especially for first responders when they have their agendas, their schedule.

They communicate with us ahead of time and we open a section for them.

But we are closed for the public after 6 p.m.
