may have allowed us to implement strategies that are more effective.

But we had a significant challenge in all the municipalities back together.

But since the formation, the signature of the ILA, we have been moving at a very rapid pace.

And I would simply say this, that while there were aspirational expectations for when the draft master plan would be done, it was incredibly aggressive.

So, this is not a delay in terms of analysis or, as Member Zeman said earlier, the slow pace of government.

It's been a matter of accumulating data, getting this into a format that we're ready to have the discussion.

I would also note that while there's a claimed exigency for the horizontal and vertical expansion it is not within the next six months it is within the next six to eight years and so all we ask is that it be deferred we're not weighing in on the merits of it it could very well be that these are appropriate lupus and ordinance changes but it seems to be the

better part of vision uh not to move ahead in a piecemeal fashion until the solid waste authority is weighed in and we can certainly move even more aggressive commission on this thank you

Commissioner Fischer, that's an excellent point.

All I can say for right now, the outline is to complete the workshops by April.

And that's why we have scheduled all,

We have the one in February.

We are scheduling now the March and April, and we'll actually add one in May in the event that's necessary.

I can't give you any better definition of that until we see the draft master plan in the next coming weeks.

And I would just say one more time, it is certainly possible that once the draft master plan is distributed, it could be that this

necessary deferral is no longer necessary.

It may very well be that the recommendation is for either a vertical horizontal expansion of the landfill.

But I appreciate the position that the county's in and we are not insensitive to that.

It is my intent to be present.
