Uh it'll play the way Trump wants it to play at the end of the day.
I mean, look, JD Vance thinks he's gonna be the nominee, or somehow Donald Trump is gonna, you know, bless him and give him the imprimata of of the nomination.
Um no, he's not.
Donald Trump likes pitting people against uh other people.
So he's gonna pit him against Marco Rubio.
We've already seen that play out a little bit.

Vance going to do?
I mean, JD Vance is largely a candidate, a potential candidate for the presidency, without uh his own base.
Who's his base?
What base did he have coming into this?
What base will he have coming out of it?
In politics, you just don't hand over somebody else's base to somebody.
You don't get it that way.
You have to earn that base.
That base has to have been in a fight for you before.
Or, to a large extent, that allowed you to be one of the last persons standing in the last battle for the presidency, which he was not.
So you've got all these other elements that are being discounted because he happens to be vice president.
And if he thinks that translates because Donald Trump somehow loves him enough to give it to him, he's a fool.
And the reality of it is Donald Trump only.
