Folks don't like to see somebody else getting an upper hand when they're told, go to school, play by the rules, work hard, and you can build yourself up in America.
And you used to do that a lot easier than you can today.
That's why folks are really aggravated, so much so, in Texas today.
A Fox News poll put out, Gina Hanna-Hoss is one point behind a four-term incumbent Republican governor.
James Tallarico beating Ken Paxton in my home state, which hasn't seen this in a long time.
Like, this is the reason this is happening because it's anti-incumbency.
Republicans have had total control of Texas for 31 years and folks haven't felt any better.
Well, you know, it's been interesting.
I've been a student of Texas for about
20 plus years, going back to when I was a state party chairman and my first real political ventures down in Texas.
And for me, it was always interesting to see how the Democrats were building the building, putting the building blocks in place to begin to win in parts of Texas that they hadn't won before and win local races and sort of build that up.
And it's now benefiting them, I think, potentially, as we've seen the succession of closing the gap
