How do you see the politics playing out as this thing heads to crunch time, meaning you turn the corner into Labor Day and then the races are really, I mean, you're 51-48 right now, a little outside the margin of error.
That's a good spot to be in at the end of the summer.
So many people, going back to 20 years ago when me and you were working there many years ago,
So many more people have come of age and you have working class folks that are coming of age, registering to vote and getting involved.
The politics being on our side is not enough.
You have to run in the right year.
It's the right year.
You have to have unemployment at a certain rate.
And it is you have to have gas prices at four dollars a gallon.
And you have to have a really flawed Republican candidate like Ken Paxton and a really good candidate like James Tallarico.
And all those things have to line up.
Well, guess what, boys and girls, they're lining up.
And that's why you're seeing these polls say that right now.
And the big difference in Texas right now are these Latino voters.
We're seeing a swing of anywhere between five and 25 percent because they were like, we gave this guy a shot and now he's locking up our aunts and uncles.
It's big.
