So a couple things.

The Broward Days program, I think, is a good backdrop program for all the different programs

groups that are going up there.

So there's a lot of groups that go up to Broward Days, which makes it important for the legislators to see a team from Area on Aging, a team from Broward County Schools, a team from all the different agencies that you would say that you would see people up there.

So they like to keep the speaker series going to make sure that they have something when they're not engaged with legislators that they can go to with the different department heads.

I'll tell you, I'm thankful for Port Everglades Association, for the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance, for Marty Cassini.

They had my calendar pretty much packed up.

I usually, when I go up there, and I had like 20 meetings over three days, because I went a day early for Holocaust Remembrance Day.

And I went with the different federations from Broward, since I was going to be up there anyway.

And my calendar was pretty much full.

I met with a lot of legislators.

Marty Cassini set me up with a lot of people, and Jared and Candace as well.

I like to meet with people, in many cases, with the Port Everglades team.

They had a lot.

So Lori Baer and her team and the Alliance team sent me a list.

So there were like 10 of those meetings.

But then the other ones, I like to meet with people outside of our area.

Senator McClain, actually his wife worked with,

Jared Rosenstein, Candace, and Marty.

She was involved, believe it or not, with helping to set up Broward Days.
