And it may feel like a little too much of a morning.
But if you're sitting there going, well, I need to put on my shoes.
I need to go out the door.
I need to put on my shoes and go out the door.
It's just so much more doable for your brain, especially in the morning when maybe you're not feeling it.
Yes.
Yes.
And that's that process focus, first outcome focus too.
Yes.
So I think that everyone should have a bag of what I call resistance strategies when you are in absolute slug mode, when you simply don't feel like doing anything.
But you have things that you need to do in order to keep your life moving.
Having a few go-to resistance strategies is very helpful.
My go-tos personally are...
I am big on prompting myself with the question, what am I willing to do?
So I'll be sitting there on my couch and I won't want to move and I'll ask myself, well, what am I willing to do to sort of move in the direction of that task?
And in that moment, I might only be willing to sit at my desk and open my email management program.
And then I'll ask myself again, well, what am I willing to do at this stage?
And if you sort of keep on prompting yourself with that question, taking very, very tiny steps,
you'll start to get to a point where you build up momentum and you can keep on going is what I find.
It almost is what we were talking about before.
