If I'm just like, oh, it's just a bit too overwhelming, I'll pop my head in and say, hey, Amy, like, how's your house looking?
Do you want to tidy?
And she'll tidy and I'll tidy at the same time.
And then we'll check back in.
And it just is much more pleasant when you're doing it alongside someone.
A tool that I really like as well is Focusmate.
Have you ever heard of it?
So Focusmate is an online accountability platform.
It's about $5 a month, so it's pretty inexpensive.
And you can hop on there and you can book a session with someone around the world.
At the start of your little Zoom, your call, you'll say, hey, I'm working on this.
They'll say, hey, I'm working on this.
And you can work on it together over a video call.
So sometimes if I'm feeling very demotivated to do something,
What I will focus on instead is, well, what I can do is book a focus mate and I'll just focus on that.
And then naturally, when I show up to the focus mate, things will happen because you're sitting on a video call with someone that you have assured that you will get something done to.
I know it's great.
It's a really great platform and it's really popular amongst people who are neurodivergent.
Lots of people with ADHD are on Focusmate.
So if you have any ADHD listeners, yeah, you'll find heaps of people in the Facebook group as well that will share similar problems to yourself.
