And the more that you can connect it to something that is already safe, that already feels comfortable for you initially, I think the easier it is to keep on taking little steps out.

I actually read in a book recently, it was a book about dating anxiety.
I've been in a relationship for nine years and I just thought, what an interesting topic.
And they said that when it comes to anxiety in situations, what you're best to do is actually push yourself into the situation until you get to at least a 50% reduction in your anxiety in that situation.
And then you can leave.
So that's another good benchmark that you can use.
Just be like, okay, do I feel like I'm sort of
you know, feeling at least 50% more calm.
And then maybe you can take yourself out of that uncomfortable situation.
Yeah, yeah.
And the more you build those little moments up and they feel safe, the easier it'll be.

So Life Happen Day is something that I like to do maybe once a month, once every two months, depending on how I'm feeling.
And basically it is a day filled with all of the tasks that I'm avoiding.
Usually they're small tasks, things like fixing the washing machine or setting up a bank account, things like that, that are just so easy to push off.
The way that I like to approach it is I'll do a huge brain dump of absolutely anything that's on my mind and
When I do a brain dump, I like to walk through my house, whether that's physically or mentally, look at all the different spaces.
