It's interesting.

But it's really, is my life going to resemble some semblance of the lifestyle I had even though the balance sheet got cut in half and –

I say it like a divorce settlement for a woman that doesn't earn her own income is the earliest retirement plan anybody is ever going to get.

You're not at 65.

Maybe you're 45.

But that money has to last 50 years.

It's a very different investment plan for something where your portfolio immediately becomes your paycheck at age 45.

So that's number one.

It's really helping them.

I hate –

when we call it downsizing, that feels crappy.

How about we're right-sizing to what chapter two looks like?

Yeah.

Adjusting a budget, not cutting it.

Really, what do I get to do with all of this now that it's mine?

And what does a good life look like and how can I sustain it?

The most foundational thing I do.

And I do that for years with people post-divorce, for years.

The first year is a blur.

A blur.
