Um, he would get excited to buy him a cheesecake.
He was on top of that, not a cheesecake, a cheeseburger.
He was on top of the world.
Um, he was so, such a great kid.
Um, so when the phone call came to me from my sister's next door neighbor, informally of what had gone on, um,
Driving from where I live to my sister's house was probably the most distressing drive that I think I'd ever had.
I didn't believe I was going to get there.
And it seemed to take days instead of half an hour.
Having got there, the chaos, the devastation, to see all my family...
so utterly shot was not good.
And I don't think I've reacted in the best way either.
I, I, I got angry.
Um, obviously it was part of the process in sorting everything out.
Um, I'd called my sons, informed them what had happened.
Could they get round as quickly as they could?
They arrived, um,
facing up to that chaos was absolutely horrific.
But interestingly, throughout the chaos, while I was sort of stomping around full of anger, full of no understanding of what's gone on, what's happened, why, my sister, this sort of went on throughout the night.
