So she came up with this idea of a bench.
She designed the bench herself.
Exactly... She painted a picture of exactly how she wanted this bench.
She wanted it lit up throughout all of the darkness.
The message being at the end of the darkness comes the light of day.
So... But also...
for the bench to act as an attraction for someone coming into a park walking through the park late at night pitch black and sees this light in the distance and they make the way to this light and as they approach this light that they see the message lit up someone is always listening and then as they sit down they see the plaques on there with the telephone numbers of
People like the Samaritans and Mind, et cetera, people that are closely working with Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.
They weren't then, so it was quite a shrewd choice from my sister, really, that no Samaritans and Mind are involved heavily with Spurs.
And, of course...
In the middle of the two plaques with all the telephone numbers, we fit the QR code, the QR code with the direct link to our website.
If you clicked on that, that took you directly to the website and it took you directly to press this button if you need help.
That button would then take you to even more numbers and everything.
And the legend of the bench was born.
And just touching back to the lighting, my sister would not allow any bench to be installed till we'd found.
And remember, this was in memory of her son, the first bench.
They wouldn't allow any bench to be installed until she'd found a company that would install the lighting that would keep it alight from six o'clock at night till six in the morning.
