The philosophy of the Sheriff's Department is to hide it.
And the philosophy of government, in a lot of respects, is that way now with the terrible way they handle public records requests and stuff.
They just basically stonewall you.
They give you the middle finger if you're asking for something that the public has a right to know.
They lied to me.
They lied to me as a fucking captain of the fucking sheriff's department with 33 years on the job.
They fucking lied to me.
While I'm in charge of sheriff's intelligence, they're fucking lying to me about what they're doing at Homicide to shut this thing up.
They don't want me involved in it.
