It's just amazing how it's changed over a couple of years.
I think those of us in the business of check, I'll say check is the odd man out, but those of us that work hard, and I have a lot of customers that still...
uh, clear checks and issue checks, uh, money orders.
I mean, they're, they're technically not a check, but, um, you know, once the, once the check hits the system, the way we've evolved the system, they move pretty fast.
Um, the, the trick is there, there is the element of fraud, uh, that's popped up on check because, uh, I think we've done a great job of, uh,
pushing and teaching people the potential for fraud and quick ACH debits, agreeing to debits.
But that fraud is still there.
But check has become one of those things that we really, I think it was Bloomberg today that talked about, had an article, is check going to be the way of the penny?
Or maybe it was the Wall Street Journal.
uh, you know, as they eliminate pennies, well, why don't we think about checks?
Well, that's true.
The credit side of it is the best side of the instant payments.
There's no question in my mind.
We've made the rules too complicated.
They're not transparent enough for both receiver and originator, whether it's debit or credit, whatever.
Easy.
Making it, everything should be easy.
I'm amazed with my grandchildren and how they can look at a phone and do the things that they want to do.
And we've made it easy on the iPhone or the, you know, the Google phone or whatever.
