I'll admit to being a complete square.
So I know next to nothing, except for stuff I see on TV about meth or about really anything.
What's the reality of being a meth user, being a meth dealer?
Because it sounds like you went down that path as well.
How would you explain it to somebody who is just so removed from that world?
Well, certainly, you know, I've spent some time going through some reviews and, you know, all very positive, number one, which is amazing.
And sort of kudos to you.
Because I can only imagine the amount of vulnerability required to tell this story the way you've told it.
Yeah, you're not hiding anything.
Someone once told me that if you don't feel ripped open while writing a memoir, then you might not be digging deep enough.
You're probably not digging deep enough.
I mentioned it in our intro, you've got young girls, you're now living in suburbia.
Did you have any fear of exposing so much of yourself to, let's say, people in your new community or even your children?
Imagine being able to tell a story like that and being able to share your truth the way you've done it could also be part of a healing process for you as well.
I mean, you must have been sort of recovered enough to a point where you could actually sit down and tell the story.
But I'm curious to know if writing it down and getting it out into the world helped you as well.

where this story begins, and, you know, is it in Hawaii where things start to go sideways, or is it before that?
