I'm...
Are you serious that that's all that watched at a time when the NFL seems to be convinced that there's so much growth out there?
The growth hasn't happened yet.
Yes, they can fill a stadium, but they're still not generating the interest from a TV standpoint that they need to generate to make this thing as profitable as it can be as an international experiment.
Look, I don't know.
And this was one of those where, is this something we really cover?
And then when I saw that the two parties involved, Mike Vrabel and Diana Rossini, both gave statements, the athletic gave statements, then that's where it became fair game for us to address it.
Chris Sims and I did not touch it at all on PFT Live today because it doesn't seem conducive to riffing and extemporaneous commentary because nobody really knows what the truth is.
We see the photos, we see the statements, and that's where it is.
But I do have some questions.
There are some threads that I think become fascinating, starting with how did this even land on the Post's radar screen?
I don't think that they had a camera person just kind of hanging around a resort in Sedona two hours from where the NFL's annual meetings were happening to โ
to take photos of anything they might happen to see that would interest them.
I feel like somebody told Page Six there's reason to explore this situation.
So there's a story there that I think may be told at some point by someone.
And the other reality, when you see something like this happen, it's going to cause people to look at any reporting,
that the reporter in question has done as it relates to Mike Vrabel, as it relates to the Patriots.
There was a break eight minutes into free agency of the Patriots signing a free agent in this past cycle.
And there have been other things that people are going to look at.
They're going to ask questions.
