They had the same manager at Brillstein.

And so he'd be on the phone with him.

He's like, hey, listen, Norm, I got to go.

He's like, oh, is Zach Galamanakis on the other line?

And that was just his joke because Zach was just, he knew he managed him, but it was always like, why are you managing this guy who's nowhere and literally struggles to get time at the store and stuff?

And then Norm's like, well, that came back to fucking haunt me because-

Because every single time he left me, he was going to get on the phone with Galifianakis.

We all know her.

No, it was his uncle, his uncle ran for governor even, I think, in North Carolina maybe.

Yeah, and my- You can't spell kiss without Galifianakis, like something, he had some big saying like that.

Well, they were these really liberal Greeks.

And so he had many uncles, and so one of his uncles actually ran a diner that was one of them, you know, the only sort of integrated diner.

They're all really big characters, too.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

I grew up in Eastchester, New York, which was 99% Italian.

Down the hill was a place called Crestwood.

Crestwood was where they got all the marble to build Washington, D.C.

monuments.

So all of my friends' grandfathers were like, had the craziest broken hands, but were so strong.

Anyway, I was probably the only kid growing up, I would pray at night to be shorter.
