We use the term non-revenue sports.
And so business is business, and college football, college athletics has now become a business.
So in the future, what's going to happen is you're going to have to fund the part of your company that can generate the most money and make the athletic department go.
You've got to stay in the black.
The majority of these athletic departments calling across the country are in the red.
They're already in debt because of facilities, much less what the NIL was throwing at them.
So when they passed this lawsuit and they said $21.5 million has to come from somewhere, in most cases it's going to come from the campus side.
They're going to funnel it over to athletics because athletics doesn't keep $20 million plus in the bank.
They spend all their money in facilities and coaches.
Now you're going to see a trend where that money is going to be spent in the players' coaches' salaries for the most part.
Big Ten and SEC are going to be an exception because they have an enormous television contract.
The media money they receive is considerably more than the other schools in the country.
But the other schools are going to have reduced coaching salaries.
That money is going to be funded into the players.
And I do not like this.
People might not want to hear it, but your non-revenue sports are going to start getting squeezed out.
Because when you go into balance of books, if they're not making any money and they're not paying the bills, something's got to go.

One of the advantages, I think, to paying players, A, they deserve it, but B, it's the first taste of real money for a lot of kids.
And I'd rather they get a million and screw it up than 30 million in the NFL and screw it up.
