And so we think that's the same.

There's a lot of trust in cities and states to run these elections, and that's hard-earned trust.

Uh, the federal government has tried to destroy that, and I think the goal is to so fear and get people to stay home.

But we actually in Colorado created independent administration of the designing of congressional districts that's nonpartisan, and we have designed them to create competitive seats.

Now, that wasn't popular from some folks in the Democratic Party at a time where we could have just

Mandared and taken almost all the seats in the state.

What we've done is created competitive seats, and I think you'll see Democrats win two of those seats back this cycle, because as the public moves, those seats will move with them.

I think that's how it should work.

Well, I think a lot of what you saw in our primary here is what you're seeing around the country is people are deeply frustrated and furious with Washington.

They feel like all they hear from Washington is like dysfunction or disaster.

Either you're cutting some sort of core benefits or you're getting us into wars that are driving up our cost of gas, or uh you're suing the city to drop our assault weapons ban.

It's just constant chaos.

And so I think people want dramatic change in Washington.

And I understand that and I agree with that.

I think running a city is a very different thing.

People expect results to be delivered here on the ground in Denver.

I think people feel like Denver is delivering on that.

They feel confident that the city's heading in the right direction, that we're seeing big drops in homelessness and crime.

But I think that's what you see acting out now.

And I think what we want is is both.
