Am I about to crack this case?
We speak for almost two hours, but before I leave, I ask about James, and whether she believes that he might have been involved in these murders as Darren Old has stated.
And she tells me that she doubts it.
I can't believe for one minute that Jimmy would be involved.
Look, Jimmy was the person where there's a fight in the pub because someone called someone a name or somebody cheated on the pool table.
Then it's on.
And yeah, Jimmy had inherited his father's knockout punch.
There was never much of a fight because it would be over too quickly.
But you know that's how Jimmy was.
But Jimmy is a good soul.
You know, I don't think Darren is lying, but maybe he's not quite remembering right.
Maybe he doesn't know the whole truth, but bits and pieces.
I don't know.
Achilles, my dog, is waiting patiently when I get back to the car, and I pull over down the road to let him go to the toilet.
And while I do this, there's only one thing going through my mind, and there's only one person I want to speak to right now.
Her brother.
However, she's told me that he's not the type of person who would ever cooperate with the police or a journalist.
And the chances that he's going to speak to me openly and tell me what he told her is next to nil.
But clearly, it's worth a shot.
so she gives me his number and wishes me luck.
