He says, yeah.

You know, basically he's like, oh, yeah, I don't know much about it.

But, yeah, there's a skeleton that was found out there and it got reburied.

you know he sort of just gave me that little piece um he also told me that he recalled sometime back around 2010 that david turner had showed up out at matilda bay and had wanted to come down to the bay for some reason and he had and this guy said he doesn't know what turner got up to when he was down there

but that he did go down.

It's hard to know what to make of this, but right now, you know, I'm just thinking, okay, if there's a skeleton down there, was he just giving me that little nugget of truth, but he didn't want to admit the other things?

Because I can see, you know, like it's a dangerous game.

The stakes are very high at this point.

Um, so I can understand if he did see something and he doesn't want to say anything now.

Okay.

Fair enough.

That's fine.

But did he just give me enough, uh, to move on from here?

So yeah, I need, I need to do a bit more here and follow this up and see if, see if this skeleton lead can go anywhere at all.

Soon after I recorded this audio, I got the lead I was potentially looking for.

A woman who had spent time out at Matoda Bay some years earlier contacted me with some potential information.

And remember, at this time, none of what I was looking at at Matoda Bay was public knowledge.

It was known only to myself, James Turner, and the source.

Now this new source, who we'll call Jane, says during her time staying at Matilda Bay, there was a man there who told her some disturbing things, and that they involved the Swedes.

And the man that told her this was Sam.
