She'd gone to her governing bodies, medical bodies.
She went to Meta.
Meta said, well, it's not, it doesn't have a Facebook URL, so we can't do anything with it.
But it's still an ad playing on their platform.
I think that's terrible.
That's crazy, right?
And that's not good enough.
It really isn't.
If we had, like when I was back at TV3, or if we were playing ads in a broadcast,
which were false and misleading and scams, we'd be done for that.
And this shouldn't be allowed to happen.
It's becoming a bigger and bigger issue, right?
This whole deep fake AI, they call them dark ads.
There was a really famous story or famous case a couple of years ago in Hong Kong where an employee of a company thought he was on a video message with his chief financial officer and a couple of the other executives.
And through their direction, transferred 25 million US dollars to the scammers.
And then it turned out the chief financial officer and all of the executives on this video call were all fake.
That's fantastic.
I mean, my kids were kind of the, you know, they were at the beginning of social media, right?
So they didn't have to deal with a lot of this stuff.
