Well, you know, it's funny because I teach a little bit of this in my class.
And according to the Weather Channel, over the last 10 years, more people have died from freshwater drowning.
And if you think about what happened with Helene just two weeks ago, think how many people died just from the flooding.
You know, their storm surge will cause some damage, a lot of damage and deaths.
But it's the freshwater flooding.
People's homes just, you know, they drown.
And, of course, we saw the horrible pictures from North Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee, what happened up there.
And that was all freshwater flooding.
yeah i mean look at that look at those how those trees are moving there pink shell resort this is fort myers right and the trees are moving what are you looking at you got the same thing i don't know if you can see behind me but i've got my palm trees behind me it's probably about 30 miles an hour right now but down on the coast they're they're approaching i'm sure 70 or 80 mile an hour winds pretty soon
Now, you just don't know if you hit a high patch of water, you get a wind, you get swept off the road.
I mean, they've got curfews out right now.
There's curfews in our city tonight.
And it's really starting to pick up.
