Yeah, I think three things that maybe drive viewership.
Star power, that would be Messi and Ronaldo.
history of success from that nation.
This is a Brazilian team that probably doesn't have the star power of most of the Brazilian teams that we've seen.
And yet their game went over 10 million on English language TV for their first game of this tournament.
So the Brazil brand still really resonates.
And then the third piece is,
just personal attachment that Americans have to the country.
Is my family from there?
Have I been there?
More Americans have visited England than any other country outside of North America.
So whether your family traces its roots to England or not, there are a lot of Americans that have a personal connection there.
They have a personal connection to Paris, even if they're not French.
So I think France tends to drive viewership.
Germany is another good Western European example.
So
there are the stars um there's the the history of success from a different country from a given country and then there's a personal connection that just an average american sports fan might have because their grandparents grew up in this country or they were there on a student exchange program where they visited just as a tourist and i think those things tend to resonate in viewership for international competitions
First of all, just phenomenal sports market.
I mean, even before the Mahomes era, Kansas City was always one of the stronger NFL markets.
And in the last 10 years, whatever it's been, their ratings have been as good as any market in the country.
