Here's what I would like to do.

This would be pre-barbecue.

Would you like to present?

And every single one of them said, oh, yeah, you bet.

Well, now I had a conference I had to figure out how to put together.

And I had about six weeks to do it.

So yeah, I put it all together in about six weeks.

I looked at what other small conferences were doing, and I assigned every speaker a 20-minute time slot and said, you got 20 minutes to do your presentation.

I took that from TEDx, by the way.

20 minute talk or 15 minute talks.

I can't remember.

And I said, all right, well, I'll be generous.

I'll give them 20 minutes.

And we had 20 minute talks, a full day of amazing presentations.

And then we all piled in cars and drove to Barry's for a barbecue that night.

So the very first Mac stock was one day thrown together in six weeks.

And I knew it was successful when at the end of it, people walked up to me and said, when is the next one?

I said, well, I just got through this one, but if you give me a couple weeks, I'll figure out when the next one is.

And that's how it came about.

Well, that means a ton, especially from a first-time attendee such as yourself, to hear that you had a good time, to feel that you weren't excluded.
