No, it just so happens to be I was reading this book called The Denial of Death by a fella called Ernest Becker.
Mm hmm.
And it won a Pulitzer Prize, I think, like in the 70s or something.
But a huge kind of like theme of the book is the reason that we feel such shame about shitting and stuff and like pooing and and even like ejaculation and masturbation.
All these things are just obviously natural things as human.
But the reason that we feel this shame.
even though it's mad because every single person shits right every single one yet we're still embarrassed about it like that makes no sense like why like if everyone does it why is there but his thing is that it's because we had kind of made it into our heads that we were like made in the image of god and we're these higher beings when really yeah we are just smart smelly animals and when you shit and when we whack all these are just you know you can't help but know you're an ape if you're wanking you know
yeah and that then reminds us that we're animals and then that reminds us that we're just worms who will be soon to be worm food you know so it reminds us of our mortality and we're trying to kind of push that away so this book has inspired me to that's really interesting because i certainly don't think about mortality when i'm doing a poop obviously i'm a simple guy but now i will i guess
Well, see, you're blessed with this kind of an obliviousness that one could only dream of.
Fair play.
But I do talk about like even like we villainize people like for just showing just being their animal self.
Like when Amber Heard took a shit in Johnny Depp's bed and suddenly she's a bad person.
