Yeah, I think it's a relief from a Chiefs standpoint.

But a reminder, too, that a lot of offseason narratives got kind of checked in week one.

I think there was, as I recall, the Dallas Cowboys were talking about the Super Bowl in the offseason.

The Rams were anointed as one of the greatest teams in the history of team sports.

going back centuries, right?

And they got checked.

And I think there was even another one, at least another one, you know, that up top, oh, the Chargers were going to be, you know, Mike McDaniel, you know, with Justin Herbert.

Well, look out for that.

They lose to Arizona.

So I think it was a nice week one to just remind people that, hey, in general, teams are closer in, you know, there's no teams that are just way, way better than everyone else on any given week.

And,

and also that Kansas City, not dead, and Denver's not going to just go march all over them.

So I thought it was a great first week for the Chiefs.

I thought it would be a closer game and didn't think the Chiefs would run the ball that good offensively.

I just thought Denver's had a pretty good defense, so I thought it could be a little bit of a,

slugfest, you know, and probably lower scoring in a closer game.

They could go either way.

It's probably what I expected.

I didn't think Mahomes was going to come out and just be amazing, and he wasn't right out of the gates, but he moved well and well enough, and it was just a nice way to kind of get back into the season.

Yeah, I've just kind of been saying I'll believe it when I see it.
